Company information

Bhava.guru is an online astrology consultation platform. It organises consultations around the twelve bhavas (houses) of a Vedic birth chart, so that a visitor can find guidance on the specific area of life their question belongs to — marriage, career, health, property, children, income, and so on.

Each house on the platform is served by three astrologer profiles at different rates, so that a first consultation can begin at a small amount and a detailed one is available for those who want it. Consultations are text chat, billed by the minute from a prepaid wallet.

How consultations work

• Pick the house your question belongs to, or use the category names if you are not familiar with the houses.
• Read the astrologer's profile — experience, tradition, languages and per-minute rate are shown before you spend anything.
• Add money to your wallet, enter your birth details, and start the chat. The meter runs only while the chat is open.
• The session ends when you close it, or automatically when your wallet balance is exhausted.

1. Acceptance

By using Bhava.guru ("the Platform"), you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. These Terms constitute an electronic record under the Information Technology Act, 2000 and do not require a physical signature.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and competent to contract under the Indian Contract Act, 1872. The Platform is not intended for minors, and we do not knowingly permit accounts held by minors.

3. Nature of the service — please read carefully

• All astrologer profiles on the Platform are AI-generated personas. They are not real human astrologers. Their names, biographies, photographs, cities, experience figures and ratings are fictional characters created for this service.
• All responses are generated by an artificial intelligence language model. They are not the professional opinion of a qualified human practitioner.
• The Platform is offered for guidance, reflection and entertainment. Astrology is not an exact science and outcomes are not guaranteed.
• Nothing on the Platform is medical, psychological, legal, financial or investment advice. For those matters, consult a registered doctor, licensed therapist, advocate or SEBI-registered adviser.
• You remain solely responsible for every decision you make. We do not accept liability for decisions taken on the basis of a reading.

4. Wallet and billing

• Consultations are prepaid. You add money to a wallet and the applicable per-minute rate is deducted while a session is active.
• The wallet is a closed-loop prepaid balance usable only for services on Bhava.guru. It is not a payment instrument, cannot be transferred to another user, and cannot be withdrawn as cash.
• Billing is calculated per second at 1/60th of the displayed per-minute rate, and the live meter is visible throughout the session.
• A session ends automatically when the wallet balance reaches zero. It is your responsibility to top up before starting a long consultation.
• Rates displayed on an astrologer's profile are the rates that apply. We may change rates prospectively; a change never applies to a session already in progress.
• All amounts are in Indian Rupees and inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.

5. Your birth details

Consultations use the birth details you supply. We do not verify them. An inaccurate date, time or place will produce an inaccurate reading, and that is not a ground for a refund. How we store and handle these details is set out in our Privacy Policy.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Platform to:

• Seek predictions about death, terminal illness, or the outcome of pending legal proceedings. Our astrologers are instructed to decline these.
• Obtain a medical diagnosis, a prescription, or a substitute for emergency care.
• Harass, abuse or send unlawful, obscene or defamatory content.
• Extract, scrape, reverse-engineer, copy or resell any part of the Platform, its personas, or its underlying prompts.
• Impersonate another person or use another person's birth details without their consent.

7. Intellectual property

The Platform, its design, its astrologer personas, profile text, illustrations and all associated content are owned by Deniotech Solutions Private Limited and protected under the Copyright Act, 1957. You receive a limited, personal, non-transferable licence to use the Platform. Nothing here transfers ownership.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or in connection with the Platform is limited to the total amount you paid us in the ninety days preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss, including loss of profits, opportunity or goodwill.

9. Suspension

We may suspend or terminate an account that breaches these Terms, engages in fraudulent payment activity, or abuses the service. Where a suspension is not due to fraud, any unused wallet balance will be refunded in accordance with our Refund Policy.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at Ghaziabad, Uttar Pradesh have exclusive jurisdiction.

1. What we collect

You give us

• Mobile number, and name if you provide one, to create and secure your account.
• Birth details — date, time and place of birth — which you enter before a consultation.
• The content of your chat messages.
• Payment reference details returned by our payment gateway. We never see or store your full card number, CVV, UPI PIN or net-banking credentials.

Collected automatically

• Device type, browser, IP address, and pages visited.
• Session duration and amounts charged, which we are required to retain for accounting and tax purposes.

We share personal data only with:

• Our AI provider, which processes the text of your consultation to generate responses.
• Our payment gateway, which processes payments and holds the card data we never touch.
• Hosting and infrastructure providers that run the Platform.
• Government or law-enforcement authorities, where we are legally required to disclose.

We do not sell your personal data, and we do not share it with advertisers.

4. Sensitivity of what you tell us

People bring genuinely private matters to an astrology consultation — a marriage under strain, a health worry, a family dispute, money trouble. We treat the contents of consultations as confidential. Chat transcripts are accessible to our staff only when investigating a specific complaint or a legal requirement, and that access is logged.

5. Retention

• Chat transcripts: 12 months, then deleted.
• Birth details: retained while your account is active, so you need not re-enter them.
• Transaction records: eight years, as required under Indian tax law.
• Account data: deleted within 30 days of a verified deletion request, except records we must retain by law.

6. Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you may:

• Ask what personal data we hold about you and get a copy.
• Have inaccurate data corrected.
• Have your data erased, subject to legal retention requirements.
• Withdraw consent, which will end your ability to use the service.
• Nominate another person to exercise these rights in the event of death or incapacity.

To exercise any of these, write to privacy@bhava.guru. We respond within 30 days.

7. Security

We use encrypted connections (HTTPS), restricted internal access, and a PCI-DSS compliant payment gateway. No system is perfectly secure; in the event of a breach affecting your data we will notify you and the Data Protection Board as required.

8. Children

The Platform is for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, write to us and we will delete it.

9. Cookies

We use cookies necessary for login sessions and wallet balance, and basic analytics to understand which pages are used. You can block cookies in your browser, but the wallet and login will not work without the essential ones.

Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Wallet top-ups

Money added to your wallet is held as a prepaid balance for consultations on Bhava.guru. Unused balance can be refunded to the original payment method on request, subject to the conditions below.

2. When we refund

• Technical failure. If a session was billed but the astrologer did not respond, or the chat failed due to a fault on our side, the full amount charged for that session is refunded to your wallet.
• Double charge. A duplicate top-up is refunded in full to the original payment method.
• Failed top-up. If money was debited from your bank but did not reach your wallet, it is credited or reversed within 5 to 7 working days.
• Unused balance. You may request a refund of your unused wallet balance to the original payment method. We process this within [7-10] working days, less any payment gateway charges already incurred.

3. When we do not refund

• Completed consultations where the astrologer responded and the service was delivered as described. Dissatisfaction with the content of a reading is not a ground for refund, since astrology does not guarantee outcomes.
• Sessions where the reading was inaccurate because the birth details you supplied were wrong.
• Time spent in a session while you were away from your device. The meter is visible throughout and you can close the session at any moment.
• Accounts suspended for fraud, chargeback abuse, or breach of our Terms.

4. How to raise a request

Write to support@bhava.guru within 7 days of the transaction, with your registered mobile number, the date and time of the session, and the amount. We acknowledge within 48 hours and resolve within 7 working days.

5. Cancellation

A consultation can be ended at any time by closing the chat. Billing stops immediately. There is no cancellation fee and no minimum session length.

6. Account closure

You may close your account at any time by writing to us. Any unused wallet balance at closure is refunded to the original payment method under clause 2.

Our astrologers are instructed to decline questions about death, terminal illness, and the verdict in a pending legal matter. This is deliberate. Answers to those questions cause real harm and no responsible practitioner gives them.

You are solely responsible for any action you take following a consultation. Deniotech Solutions Private Limited accepts no liability for any loss, damage or consequence arising from reliance on a reading.
